A private focused, end to end encrypted vault for your health and fitness data

Gradus is developed for its community. We prioritize features suggested by our users. We are still early and young, so you have a real shot in having an impact here, shaping the product to your needs. Join one of our channels and say hi!

Project goals

  • Open Source commercial effort. All our code is AGPL licensed and can be self hosted. The primary server runs on a subscription model with the goal of becaming a sustainable business
  • Vertical integration. We aim to integrate with all major platforms and watches, aswell with open source efforts like Gadgetbridge

Contribution Policy

At this moment, we don't accept code contributions. This is likely to change in the future. The project is too imature and fast moving, we don't have a clear guideline on what we expect from contributions yet.

We encourage you to reach one of our community channels to discuss feature development, we always prioritize implementing features and fixing bugs that are requested from our members

AI Policy

There's two aspects of AI that we've seen being discussed the most:

  1. Political / sociological: Is AI bad for society and our environment?
  2. Pratical: Does AI generated code and assets good?

Our community has no objective of advancing the political debate around AI. So avoid political discussions on the topic. From the pratical point of view, we believe that AI is an useful tool to help understanding, mantaining and extending code. This codebase makes use of AI tools, altough we're careful to review all the output.

Please, don't use AI to compose text, specially long ones in our channels. We want a community of humans talking to each other, and we prefer that you compose your texts with our own words. Use AI for understanding, writing code, doing research, but be responsible for its output. You'll have better change or being read if you write with your own words.
